BCA Elects New Officers and Plans 2017 Events


BOARDMAN, OHIO — The Board of Directors of the Boardman Civic Association (BCA) elected new officers for 2017.

President: Meg Harris, Community Support and Trauma Supervisor with Alta Behavioral HealthCare

Vice President: George Farris, Founder and CEO of Farris Marketing

Secretary: Mark Luke, Executive Director of Mahoning Valley Mediation Services

Treasurer: Jeff Barone, Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley

Much Accomplished in 2016

Boardman Civic Association held four very successful events in 2016 including the Community Awards Night, Scholarship Awards Dinner, Candidates Forum and a Hospitality Industry Community Update.

BCA also launched a new website, developed and launched updated branding and a new logo. A new theme: “We’re Working Together, Making Boardman Better” was developed and will be promoted in 2017.

2017 Goals

A strong emphasis will be placed on increasing membership in 2017 and annual events are expected to continue to grow.

BCA encourages anyone who is interested in begin engaged in growing and keeping Boardman Township a nice place to call home, to consider joining. The annual fee of $85 includes tickets and dinner at all four of the planned events.
