BCA Names New Officers, Sets Event Calendar for 2020


The Boardman Civic Association announces the organization’s newly elected officers for the upcoming year:

  • President – Tommy Testa
  • Vice President – Meg Harris
  • Secretary – Mark Luke
  • Treasurer – Jeff Barone

 

BCA has also set its 2020 calendar of events. Note that we have added a second Candidates and Issues Forum that will precede this year’s primary election.

Candidates and Issues Primary Forum

February 20 • Boardman Park Lariccia Center — The premier local election forum on ballot initiatives and candidates for local, county-wide and regional positions.

Community Awards Dinner

March 16 • Boardman Park Lariccia Center — A fun evening with a delicious dinner and awards presented for Business of the Year, Citizen of the Year, Community Service, New Construction and Best Remodel/Renovated Building.

Scholarship Awards Dinner

May 7 • Boardman Holiday Inn — An inspiring evening complete with dinner. Monetary scholarships are awarded to Boardman students attending local high schools.

Candidates and Issues Dinner

September 21 • Boardman Park Lariccia Center — The premier local election forum on ballot initiatives and candidates for local, county-wide and regional positions.

Business Mixer & Wine Taste

October 19 • Location TBD — A big hit in previous years, the BCA Business Mixer with Wine Taste proves you really can mix fun and business.
