That’s why we’re extending this invitation for you to join the Boardman Civic Association — an exclusive group of business, civic and community leaders. Our group was founded in 1950 “To support positive growth, pride and development in Boardman Township.” We still honor that mission, but you’ll also get to network, promote your business and have some fun!

A one-time $85 all-inclusive business/individual annual membership fee gives you access to any or ALL of our events (including dinner at dinner events).

Why the BCA Mixer?

There are many mixers, but the Boardman Civic Association Business Mixer is special for several reasons:

Boardman-only: The BCA Business Mixer is for businesses and non-profits that are based in or near Boardman only. Boardman is the hub of commerce in Mahoning County. It’s the Valley’s Destination for for medical treatment, for entertainment, shopping and more.
This event was created to welcome the new businesses and non-profits in Boardman and recognize and thank those who already operate here.
The focus is on fun, socializing and networking. A DJ will be constantly spinning tunes and occasionally interviewing sponsors and guests.

$25 in advance and at door

This dinner is included in your dues. (If you would like to bring a guest, the additional charge is $25.00 per person. Please RVSP for you and your guests.)

Public invited to attend

Parents and the public are encouraged to attend and honor the award winners. Tickets for the event including dinner are $25.00.

Spotlight on Our Civic Stars Feb 22!

One of the most popular events in Boardman Township each year is the annual Boardman Civic Association (BCA) Community Awards Dinner.

The 2018 edition is scheduled for Thursday, February 22. Doors open at 5:30 pm and dinner at 6:00 pm at the Lariccia Family Community Center in Boardman Park.

March 19 • Boardman Park Lariccia Center — Candidates in contested local races will present their platforms and answer questions for the audience.

Scholarship Awards Dinner

Monday, April 16, 2018, at the Boardman Holiday Inn. Doors will open at 5:30 pm with dinner at 6:00. Youngstown State University President Jim Tressel will be our guest speaker as recognize outstanding graduating students from Boardman High School, Cardinal Mooney High School, Valley Christian School and Ursuline High School for their academic and civic excellence!

Many generous individuals and organizations have sent in their scholarship donations for which we are so grateful. If you haven’t submitted your donation there is still time to do so. We will be printing the program soon and will recognize those who have made contributions. Additionally, last year some organizations donated beautiful items for gift bags for each student (umbrellas, etc.). If you would like to give items please let me know or reach out to Karen McCallum at karen@boardmanpark.com.
