Thank You for A Great Event — Candidates & Issues Forum


The Boardman Civic Association held its annual Candidates and Issues Forum on Monday, September 18. Those who attended heard from many great speakers who presented their issues or candidate qualifications.

The BCA event had representatives speak on the following issues:

  1. Mahoning County Mental Health and Recovery Board (renewal)
  2. Mahoning County Children Services (replacement)
  3. Boardman Township Park (renewal)

Also, we heard from speakers for the following races:

  1. Mahoning County Educational Service Center
  2. Boardman Local School District

Monday, September 18 at Boardman Park Lariccia Family Community Center.

Doors open at 5:00 pm, with dinner at 5:30 pm and Election Forum to follow at 6:00 pm.

$20 in advance or at the door

Non-BCA Members

The public is encouraged to attend. Tickets for dinner, are $20.00. The forum is free and open to the public.

BCA Announces 2023 Officers and Events


The Boardman Civic Association announces their officers for 2023 and is proud to introduce a new president for the organization. BCA has maintained its Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer for the upcoming year, but is excited to welcome Daniel Segool as their new President. The 2023 officers are listed below:

  • President – Daniel Segool
  • Vice President – Meg Harris
  • Secretary – Mark Luke
  • Treasurer – Jeff Barone

In addition to releasing their new officers, BCA also set the dates for their 2023 events. While the Association is looking forward to putting on their three annual main events, BCA has also brought back a popular event from previous years — its Membership Mixer. The 2023 events are as follows:
